Find and use Templates

The Library homepage presents public Templates in discovery collections such as Featured, Sponsored, Popular, and New. Category navigation provides another way to narrow the catalog.

Sponsored placement identifies promotion. It does not replace publication review or change the content shown on a Template page.

Search matches public Template titles, descriptions, creator names, categories, tags, file paths, and readable file content. Available filters can limit results by category, tag, or license. Results can be ordered by newest, oldest, or star count.

A simple generic search might use meeting notes and then select a productivity category. The result set contains only public Templates that match the current catalog filters.

A public Template page contains the information needed to evaluate a release:

  • title and description;
  • creator identity and verification indicator, when applicable;
  • category, tags, and license;
  • published version and release information;
  • review status;
  • a folder and file view;
  • readable Markdown or text content;
  • download and Add to Memside actions.

Files can be inspected before any download or import. This supports a deliberate review of instructions and reference material before reuse.

A public creator page lists the creator’s published Templates. A creator page becomes publicly discoverable after at least one approved Template is available.

A verification badge indicates that the Library has verified the creator account. It is an identity indicator, not an endorsement of every instruction or claim inside a Template.

The star action saves a public Template to the signed-in account’s Starred list. Removing the star removes it from that list without changing the public Template.

An individual Markdown or text file can be downloaded in its original format or as a Word document. A complete Template can be downloaded as a ZIP archive of the original files or as one Word document.

Copy and download actions require authentication. Downloaded material remains subject to the license displayed on the Template page.

A signed-in account can report a public Template when content appears unsafe, misleading, unlawful, or otherwise unsuitable for the catalog. A report records the selected reason and an optional concise explanation for review.

Reporting does not immediately change public content. The Template remains subject to the Library review process.

Published file content is immutable for a specific version. File changes require a new review and produce a new published version. Eligible title, description, category, tag, or license corrections can update the current public listing without creating a file-content version.

The latest approved release is shown by default. Exact published versions remain stable for downloads and imports that reference them.
