Search and Filters

The search bar and filter controls appear above the main Memory list. Use them to find saved information, narrow a large list, and focus on current work.

The main search box is the fastest way to find a Memory. Enter a word or phrase to search saved content.

For example, search for meeting to find meeting notes and follow-up tasks.

AI Search finds Memories by meaning, not only by exact wording.

For example, searching for finance may find a Memory titled Quarterly budget.

For a name, code, or exact phrase, use a more specific term or combine search with filters.

  • In Cards View, use the Sort menu.
  • In Table View, select a column heading.

Available options can organize results by date, title, or another visible field.

Filters can narrow results by:

  • Status, such as Active, Completed, or Archived;
  • Sensitivity, such as Private, Public, or Secret;
  • Memory Type, such as Note, Task, Event, or Operating Rule;
  • Due Date for time-based work;
  • Tags for a topic or group.

Tag matching supports:

  • AND to require all selected tags;
  • OR to allow any selected tag.

The filter button shows a count when filters are active.

  1. Start with one broad search term.
  2. Check the first results.
  3. Add Status, Type, or Tags only if the list remains too broad.
  4. Clear filters before starting a different search.

For example, search for trip, filter by Active, then add the tag planning.
